INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

For now this is the finished model from me. I understand that my model is not better one but through out the course and training I am sure that i can do better than this.I will search for more tutorials on uv texturing and modeling through this course.

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

This is the half character texture map. I did take this UV to photoshop then add texture on it according to the area.

the right side image is showing texturing of the above image.I downloaded different type of texture according to the area. Then edited it in photoshop. After that I added this texture to hypershade so finally i can see that how is my first character model texturing looks.

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

This the screenshot of gladiator character UV texture editor. In the editor at the moment only showing scissor.after I finish the scissor I will start to Unwrap the character.

This screenshot showing the character unwrap. It need to do perfectly as possible. I had research and watched some tutorials before ding this I already mention it.

This is the result of my uv editing.I know that this is not perfect but I will try to make it better next time.
Now I have to do texturing on the model.after texturing I will duplicate the model then I will import the helmet to maya were I am editing the character. I will combine them.

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

I attached the scissor to left hand according to the research information. From now the UV texture edit first I downloaded the UV checker. When I added the UV checker to hypershad the result is shown above.I started unwrapping from scissor. In the above screen shot its clear that scissor is Unwrapped .

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

This rather odd-looking weapon was used in the arenas by the gladiators of the ancient Roman Empire. Interestingly enough, the gladiators who wielded the scissor in combat were also known as scissors. The metal casing at the bottom formed a long tube that covered the gladiator’s arm, allowing the weapon to easily block and parry, as well as counterattack. Made from hardened steel, the scissor measured up to one and a half feet long. It is surprisingly light, weighing in at an easy 5-7 pounds; this allowed the scissor to be wielded with a good amount of speed. The scissor’s unique shape and design made it a crowd favorite.

I reference this image and information to develop the scissor

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

I started to develop armor on the body. i have to make the muscle to show over the armor.
Above I duplicated the character. I had some feed back on my character in class everyone like it but i know that have to go long way reach the perfect character design.after duplicated model I start to develop scissor separate.

INTRODUCTION TO SPECIALIST PATHWAY

I start to make knee on my character and trying to develop muscles. I am not going to make head because of the helmet I don't need to make any head. Because of the first time it was hard to make any muscles on body.I had look at some of the 3d model from my research to get idea for body proportion.

I am showing a 3d character in development  from research.this is a good example for human proportion to start with.
