I started with my design in maya. I try to finish my helmet design then I started to do the body work of character.

This is my first experience in character modeling I am showing here some of my roman gladiator helmet work. for today I have finished the helmet but I have to do some more work on it to complete the full helmet.Also now I am started the full body of the character, because of the less experience I have to look some tutorials. At the bottom of the helmet images I am showing my character design  development. I have to add more details to it.

Today I started with searching more into scissor gladiator. I want to get information as possible as much. I am trying to draw on my blue print today.I have searched for some more images of scissores gladiator , I got some interesting images from now I am trying to make this gladiator through sketech. I made a sketch of my gladiator helmet which I looked at some of the pictures of the helmet then `i started my drawing in illustrator also I made some sketch in my sketch book. I have todraw three angle front, side , and back of the helmet. My plan is after I made the drawing I will put this pic into photoshop then I will take the reference picture I will try to add the helmet drawing into the reference picture using photoshop. If it not working I will try to trace the work on paper then I will scan that sketch to mac.I haven't had an experience on doing human 3d model this is the first time I am doing.

   Above I am showing my illustrator sketch. I planing to look at some human modeling tutorial for next week modeling and also I will try to make some  models in home. I m also showing some Images I got from my research on scissor gladiator.

In this images I can see there is two main weapons left hand weapon is called scissor and right one is sword.Also for my helmet drawing I used this images as reference.

Today I started with making my powerpoint presentation on my chosen live brief. I selected to make 3d character modeling, the character must be a roman gladiator with historically accurate. I need to design all weapons and armors for the character, I started research on roman gladiators in internet through the research I understand there was many type of gladiators before So I start to select one of the gladiator to make as character,my fellow students selected some of the gladiators already for there 3d design, I was trying to find a new gladiator type so at last I got it. This gladiator called scissors, I try to take some images from the net but I cant find more images on this gladiator , but i got few . I going to make this gladiator from the images I have with the help of information on this scissors gladiator.

I also started with searching for blue print or reference image for my design  in google. there is lots of reference images but i choose a  suitable image that i showing down. now i want to draw over this design I will try to use the illustrator for drawing but I am not sure about the illustrator work But I will try to make

                                           

after this I try to understand about the weapons that carried by scissor gladiators, I searched on internet  about it. From the information I understand they carried a scissor but when I looked at in to the images but I cant find any scissor. I was bit confused about it because I have to design the charecter historicaly accurate. From the internet research on roman scissor gladiators I later find out that n the left hand scissor gladiator carried a scissor but it actually not look like a scissor.  I have got the information from this website
